Moving into dicing has proven tougher than I thought. The sketch was pretty rough but the result was worse than that! Decided to remove the dicing and stick with slicing this time.

Slicing and Dicing
Settled on a theme, time to get pencil to pad.
After a bit of experimenting with grids, dabbled with the sliding pixels.
Cubes add depth to the work - previous attempts pixelating visuals into 2d didn't work out.
Maybe it's getting a little muddled, but dripping and drooling is gonna add to that floating effect.

Slices
Sliced is a theme started a couple of years back, focusing on contours and form.
Floating is an element that I hadn't really explored, so looking into it now should breath new life into it.
The apple melting from a few weeks back got me into the blobs look.
It's another way to describe the form and emulate movement.

Sliced
Experimenting with a few different brush strokes to demonstrate weightlessness.
Giving the pixels a floating quality is pretty simple, but with a vibrant backdrop, purpose and direction can be given also.
